What Customers Say About Milwaukee 8988-20 Variable Temperature Heat Gun:

This heat gun meets all of my expectations. It very handy to be able to set it on the built in stand. Being able to select the temperature is also very nice.
Probably because I need it to stay pretty cool. I use this heat gun to dry horses hooves after cleaning. It wants to heat up much hotter than I need. Also to set an epoxy to harding the sole of the hoof. I have found it a bit difficult to set and hold the temperature that I need. But on the other hand a non-variable heat source is much hotter and there is no way to make them cooler. Overall this gun works for the purpose with a little practice.
This is without doubt their top of the line item and could be the best heat gun out there. My son put me on to this and he did plenty of research prior to purchasing his.
We loved the features of this heat gun. We especially like the digital LED read out of Tempature.
I had never used a heat gun to remove paint, but now this heat gun is what I turn to first. I have layers and layers of paint to remove from trim on an older house and this heat gun does a great job.
